We are seeking a qualified Maintainability and Testability engineer with experience in design, analysis, tools, and industry standards to support the development of complex electronic systems. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in maintainability and testability design, cybersecurity (particularly for edge devices), electronic circuit design and analysis, and embedded processing technologies (e.g., microcontrollers, microprocessors, system-on-chip devices). Tasks will include developing fault detection, isolation, and maintenance concepts; supporting system-level requirements for safety, maintenance, and repair objectives; performing fault detection/isolation and maintainability assessments using standards such as ARINC 604, ARINC 847, MIL-HDBK-1814A, and MIL-HDBK-2165; developing Built-in-Test (BIT) plans and reports; and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a classified environment. Oral and written communication skills, interpersonal abilities, and a proven capacity to prioritize tasks effectively in dynamic environments are essential for success in this role.

Job Duties -Job duties include supporting the development of product fault detection, isolation, and maintenance concepts to ensure compliance with product safety, maintenance, and repair objectives. This involves defining and assessing system-level requirements, conducting fault detection and isolation analyses in accordance with industry standards (e.g., ARINC 604, ARINC 847, MIL-HDBK-1814A, MIL-HDBK-2165), and performing maintainability and repairability assessments using standards such as MIL-STD-1472G, MIL-HDBK-470A, and MIL-HDBK-472. The role also includes developing and verifying Built-in-Test (BIT) plans and procedures through fault insertion tests, generating detailed test reports, and collaborating closely with Hardware, Software, Systems, Safety, Test, and Manufacturing teams to identify risks, implement corrective actions, and enhance maintainability and testability capabilities of the product. The candidate will work in a cross-functional, classified environment to meet dynamic project objectives while ensuring compliance with all relevant industry standards and best practices.
