For this contractor assignment, as an IT Change Release Management Analyst Senior, you'll join a team of 20+ teammates supporting software development teams who are responsible for all our organizations key business applications. The mission of this centralized team is to plan and deploy software releases developed through both waterfall and agile methodologies. The role serves as a single point of contact for change control, release planning, and application deployment, ensuring that changes are properly scheduled, managed to mitigate risk and delivered on time with high quality.

responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- You'll interact daily with other release planners, developers, testers, project managers, and service managers.
- You'll be responsible for planning and performing software deployment to Development, Test, and Production environments which are on performed on distributed (server), cloud, and mainframe platforms.
- The deployments are executed both during and before normal business hours, with an occasional need for weekend deployments.
Required skills:
- Working knowledge of ITIL and industry standards, concepts, terminology, and common practices.
- Working knowledge of Change and Release Management methods, tools, terminology, and industry practices.
- Excellent communication skills - listening, verbal and written - including meeting management and facilitation.
- Excellent customer service skills - servicing and interfacing with individuals across IT (customers) in different roles to coordinate/lead elevates for major projects as well as operational changes.
- Excellent organization skills with proven ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities successfully, delivering with high quality.
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with others to establish common goals, including deployment dates.
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to embrace assignment changes when needed.
Preferred skills and experiences:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Dev Ops (AzDO), GIT, Pipelines and workflows.
- Experience with BMC Remedy or other ITSM tool suites
- Experience with Serena ChangeMan (used for mainframe deployments)
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Business or Information Technology, or related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, MIS, Business Management) and a minimum of four years of work experience analyzing, planning and implementing business system changes.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of six years of related work experience analyzying, planning and implementing business system changes may be accepted.
