Our client in San Antonio is looking to fill a permanent position for an Epic - Ambulatory Analyst.
Required Skills:
- Experience with 1-2 previous implementations of Epic Ambulatory within a large, multi-facility healthcare organization.
- Hands on Ambulatory Build experience
- Epic Ambulatory Certification
- We prefer candidates whose perspective extends beyond simply configuring and testing an application.
- The candidates should have an understanding of the clinical workflows and requirements of our customer stakeholders' experience.

responsibilities:
- Provides computer technical expertise, project management, technical guidance and direction in the implementation and operation of computer systems; used for financial, clinical and/or administrative systems
- Organizes and schedules a variety of major and/or complex computer system tasks, including programming, in a timely and proficient manner and in compliance with departmental and policies and procedures.
- Individual must maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and other staff
- perform other duties as assigned or defined in the performance evaluation and in the policies and procedures.
- Acts as the primary support contact for the application's end-users
- Identifies issues that arise in their respective application area as well as issues that impact other application teams, and works to resolve them
- Guides workflow design, builds and tests the system, and analyzes other technical issues associated with Epic software.
- Identifies and implements requested changes to the system as needed
- Serves as a liaison between end users' workflow needs and Epic implementation staff
- Maintains regular communication with Epic representatives, including participating in weekly project team meetings
- Works with Epic representatives, Health System's business community, and end-users to ensure the system meets the business needs in regards to the project deliverables and timelines
- Develops an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization's workflows by attending site visits, validation sessions, and other integrated sessionsP
- articipates in training and works with end-users as required
- Troubleshoots problems and questions as they arise.
- Reviews the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership
- Conducts weekly communications with team members to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end-user concerns, budget, and upcoming milestones
- Other duties assigned or requested based on team functions and responsibilities
- Demonstrates competence to perform assigned and general customer assistance responsibilities in a manner that meets the age-specific and developmental needs of customers encountered.
- Appropriately adapts work and customer assistance methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, age-specific and other developmental needs of customers
