Our Northern VA client is seeking a Project Mangaer for a long term, contract opportunity. Candidates may work remotely but should reside in the DC area in the event they are asked to attend onsite meetings occassionally. .

responsibilities:
Core System replacement Project
- The client is replacing their core system which controls warrants and the Jail System Management and the clerk of the courts systems
- this will be migrated to SharePoint
- Excellent Business Process Analysis is required for this role
- Prior local government IT experience is HIGHLY preferred for this role but not necessary
- This is a new solution which is currently being implemented
- Agile shop
- seeking a functional BA to help the PM keep the project on task
- heavy on the Business Process Requirements side
- 98% remote opportunity
- 6 month contract to start with follow on extensions
