Required Consultant must demonstrate: (Minimum):
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience or a high school diploma/equivalency and ten years of experience. (Note: or a combination of appropriate post high school education and experience equal to ten years.)

- Experience with F5 Big-IP LTM.
- Industry certifications from any of the above mentioned manufacturers.
Service Delivery
- Responsible for high-level network planning, design, and optimization.
- Develops strategies and direction for network systems solutions using current and emerging technologies (including wireless).
- Translates business requirements into network or process designs.
- Plans and recommends network hardware, systems management software, and architecture.
- Approves and modifies network design and architecture to ensure compliance.
- Configures and maintains routers, switches, and hubs for the network systems (including wireless). Evaluates and recommend new products and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies for application to the enterprise.
- Monitors network performance to ensure capacity planning is performed and is proactive in assessing and making recommendations for improvement.
- Performs troubleshooting procedures and designs resolution scripts.
- May take on the role of Project Leader for special enterprise-wide assignments.
- Defines network architectures and design for the enterprise.
- Works on multiple projects as a project leader or as the subject matter expert.
- Works on projects/issues of high complexity that require in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments.
- Coaches and mentors more junior technical staff.
- Reporting for emergency duty is required as part of this position. Emergencies may occur at any time and create varying degrees of damage, human suffering, injury, death, and property damage or destruction. In the event of an emergency, unless Consultant is granted a temporary exemption from emergency duty, Consultant may be required to work before, during, and/or beyond normal work hours or days to perform emergency duties including, but not limited to, responses to or threats involving any disaster or threat of disaster, man-made or natural.
- Follows all established team processes and procedures
- Facilitates product purchases and maintenance renewal efforts
- Develops documentation for support processes, systems, and procedures
- Participates in the change management process
- Tracks time for Professional Services billing purposes
- Provides second-level technical support assistance to internal and external customers
- Maintains security, confidentiality, and availability of systems
- Monitors Service Desk ticketing system and responds appropriately based on published time expectations
- Must be available for on-call and/or overtime duties as required
- Participates in Computer Security and Incident Response Team (CSIRT) and Continuity of Operations (COOP) events, where required
- Develops quality control methods for ensuring platform output meets standards
