Job Duties -
Assess, design and implement SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and hybrid infrastructures.
Develop technical standards upon which implementation designs are based. (ie. Policies, Blueprints)
Work closely with the business domains supported by assigned systems and technologies, and serve as primary architect on those knowledge areas for implementation teams.
Ability to identify and work within different cloud migration approaches such as SaaS first, re-factor, lift and shift
Address problems and research questions within the assigned technology domains and implementations.
Job Requirements -
Design and implement architectural roadmaps regarding Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) architectures.
Develop and implement internal systems, processes, and best practices to be used by other teams designed to increase productivity.
Participate and lead technical architecture reviews to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment, security, and high availability in cloud and hybrid environments.
Experience in enterprise applications, solutions, and data center infrastructures
Provide leadership in infrastructure migration methodologies and techniques including application assessments and migrations.
strong understanding across cloud and infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, and applications) to deliver end to end cloud infrastructure, architectures, and designs
strong understanding of security including cloud native identity, networking and application controls.
Ability to work with team members from around the globe/experience working with off-shore models
strong written, verbal, workshop and whiteboard skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills & Experience -
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent experience
Relevant industry certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect
10+ years' IT experience
Minimum of 5 years' experience supporting cloud solutions
