We are seeking a Splunk Dashboard and Observability Specialist to design and implement comprehensive monitoring solutions. This role will focus on creating insightful dashboards, configuring health checks, and setting up alerts to enhance the visibility and reliability of critical applications and services.

responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Splunk dashboards for application and service observability.
- Configure health checks, alerts, and reporting mechanisms to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define key metrics and monitoring requirements.
- Write and optimize Splunk SPL queries for performance and scalability.
- Automate monitoring and observability tasks using Splunk tools and custom scripts.
- Document processes, workflows, and dashboard configurations for operational excellence.
- Train team members to effectively use and interpret Splunk dashboards.
- Expertise in Splunk, including dashboard creation, advanced queries, and alert configurations.
- Experience with monitoring and observability of applications and services.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of logging frameworks and metrics collection (e.g., Fluentd, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry) is a plus.
- Certifications such as Splunk Core Certified Power User or Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin are highly desirable.
- Experience with cloud-based observability tools and platforms.
- Familiarity with ITSM and incident management workflows.
