job summary:
We have a fantastic opporutnity in San Antonio, TX for a Scrum Master who has a strong background supporting development teams, agile methodolgies and team management. This is a contract to hire opportunity and we'd like to see candidates who also have great tenure and have worked in financial industry.

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications/background:

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  
  
• Experience:
  
  
  • 4+ years working in software development teams.
    
    
  • At least 4 years as a Scrum Master, with experience working across multiple Agile teams.
  
  
  
• Skills:
  
  
  • Proficiency in applying Agile frameworks and practices.
    
    
  • strong leadership skills to manage and mentor development teams.
    
    
  • Excellent interpersonal, project management, and problem-solving capabilities.
    
    
  • Effective communicator-able to present ideas clearly, facilitate meetings, and lead training workshops.
    
    
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
    
    
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM/PSM), Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM), or Certified Scrum Professional ScrumMaster (CSP-SM) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in personnel management and project management.
  
  
• Familiarity with the financial services industry is a plus.

Job Details:

• Hybrid role (with minimal onsite requirements).
  
  
• Candidates must be based in the San Antonio Metro area (maybe up to New Braunfels/ South Austin) to meet the onsite requirements.

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure they follow their Agile framework values and practices, while developing the Agile mindset overall

• Mentor, measure and motivate development teams to optimize processes and increase productivity
  
  
• Design and lead workshops to educate and advocate for Agile framework values and practices, with a focus on Scrum, Kanban and Scrumban
  
  
• Inspire individual growth by coaching team members to be self-organizing and accountable
