We are seeking an experienced ITAM Project Manager to oversee the buildout and implementation of an IT Asset Management (ITAM) program for a client of ours.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in designing processes for ITAM or Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) programs and will be skilled in managing cross-functional projects. As part of the ITAM team, you will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of the project and the achievement of key milestones.
The Ideal Candidate will have the following skills/background
- 5-7 years managing IT Asset Management Projects/ Programs
- Highly organized and able to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- A team player with the ability to collaborate and lead cross-functional teams.
- Experience designing and implementing ITAM or SACM processes, including hands-on process creation and improvement.
- strong communicator with experience in technical writing and documentation.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring project goals and deadlines are met.
- Proven experience managing ITAM or SACM projects, with a solid understanding of ITSM process design.
- strong project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to create clear, concise technical documentation.
- Experience with process improvement and design, with a focus on ITAM or SACM.
- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile) are a plus but not required.
- ITAM or SACM experience within a financial institution is beneficial but not required.

- Lead and manage the project to build and implement the ITAM program at our client
- Design and optimize ITAM/SACM processes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Oversee the day-to-day execution of the project, tracking progress against milestones and managing resources effectively.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, ensuring clarity and consistency in process workflows and project milestones.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation and operational integration of ITAM processes.
- Identify and recommend improvements to existing processes, focusing on increased efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage and communicate project risks, ensuring any issues are addressed promptly and mitigated as needed.
