Great Opportunity with a Fortune Global 500 company that is currently seeking an experienced Oracle Solution Architect in Atlanta, GA. Responsible for bridging technology and business goals to create achievable enterprise solutions. S/He would be required to have expertise in creating guidelines and best practices for developing, selecting and implementing enterprise level information systems. The Oracle Solution Architect must have a broad knowledge of software, hardware, applications, networking and business process engineering and influence architecture, design and integration of solutions.

responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Serve as an expert in IT domains related to Oracle ERP application, integration technologies, and data.
- Assist with project estimation efforts for applications implementation and deployment, ensuring that projects do not duplicate functionality
- Ensure optimal level of performance of systems in their IT Domain. Serve as point of contact for critical issue escalation and guide multiple teams including vendors for a successful resolution.
- Advise project/rollout teams on system integration/architecture practices
- Lead and execute architectural upgrades/changes/migration for systems in their IT domain.
- Optimize IT systems/solutions through an understanding of business needs and technology capabilities.
- Help customers to envision new IT solutions, foster partnerships and create value propositions.
- Partner with vendors on developing the company's specific requirements in product offerings.
- Ensure a high level of governance and compliance of systems under their responsibility via regular review of policy, process and procedures.
- Willingness to travel
- Bachelor's degree in Programming/Systems or Computer Science or another related field. (Or equivalent work experience)
- Has 10 or more years of experience as Oracle Solution Architect including architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management and infrastructure planning and operations with exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
- Demonstrate very strong experience in the design, development, and implementation of software systems in Service, Field, Manufacturing and Shared Services, along with accompanying integrations
- Record of accomplishments in integrating and servicing large business.
- Ability to conceive solutions, build consensus, and execute solutions.
- Capability to work both independently and as a team member. Exemplary communication skills in interfacing with company partners and the IT community are required.
- Demonstrated experience with aligning business requirements with IT solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex problems or processes, identify and understand requirements and develop alternate solutions.
- Experience with implementation and integration of cloud-based technologies
- Experience with Oracle eBS release 12.2.12, Oracle database and middleware products, Oracle frameworks as FMW, BPEL, OAF and ADF, java and jsp
- Experience with Oracle Modules Order Management/Supply Chain, Projects, Finance, Service & Field Service
- Preferred knowledge or certifications in Salesforce Cloud and MuleSoft are highly beneficial to ensure seamless interoperability and future-focused system architecture.
- Project Management (Waterfall or Agile methodology) certification a plus
- Experience with API Management tools
- Experience working with outsourced service providers, including but not limited to estimating, monitoring work, problem-solving and error correction, and keeping projects on track.
- Experience working with internal controls to ensure compliance of systems with Group standards.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough understanding of systems to perform requirements analysis and testing based on requirements.
- Define problem statements, analyze process, system, data and people issues and present solution options for requirement.
- Define and comply with processes to maintain high availability and stability of systems under their responsibility
- Timely resolution of Problems and Issues
- Accurate and timely completion of assigned components of the detailed project/plan
