Our Lansing Client has a 6+ month contract opportunity for a Telecom Network Assistant to help manage, deliver and support corporate telecommunications including desk phones and mobile devices. Experience with mobile device management (MDM) systems and desktop phones (Cisco or similar) is preferred. This can be a remote role near Lansing, MI with occasional trips onsite.

responsibilities:
- Administer and deploy mobile devices
- Act as a liaison to communication providers to manage order process for mobile devices
- Provide hardware and software support for telecom devices
- Assist with maintaining asset tracking for active and inactive devices.
- Provide device training as necessary
- Assist in the management of a MDM system
qualifications:
- 2+ years technical support experience
- Experience working with help desk ticketing systems
- Mobile device management experience including break fixes, refreshes and deployments
- Experience working with cellular carriers to provide enterprise wireless support
- Experience writing effective end-user instructions, user guides, and maintaining troubleshooting documentation
- Effective communication skills
