The Client's Advanced Materials Technology (AMT) division supports the company's heat treat manufacturing equipment, processes, and technological development around the world. AMT is currently seeking an experienced Software Specialist to deliver world-class support to our business unit customers. The Software Specialist bears primary responsibility for application development and programming, database administration, security implementation, and application change management.

responsibilities:
- Software architecture and design, including documentation
- Capture and analyze system requirements
- Develop, deploy, and manage C# Web APIs
- Design and develop data-driven applications
- Using and managing source control systems (Git)
- Database development administration (Oracle, SQLServer)
- Operating system administration (Windows, Powershell)
- Troubleshooting of database and reporting platforms
- Implement and manage software security and access control (SAML)
- Participate on many projects concurrently and with cross-functional teams
- Lead new technology initiatives in industrial applications
qualifications:
- C++
- C #
- .NET
- Python
- SQL & relational databases
- GIT, or other version control technologies
- Experience with historian and OPC clients
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations
- Experience with SCADA systems (FTOptix, Wonderware Archestra)- Highly desired
- Experience with unified modeling language (UML)
- Experience with automated software regression testing
- Operational technology cybersecurity experience
