responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware and software solutions including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Lead network security initiatives by configuring VPNs, SD-WAN, and remote access protocols.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic to ensure high performance and identify optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize network solutions and ensure seamless operations in a 24/7 environment.
- Provide third-tier technical support and mentorship to junior team members.
- Maintain up-to-date network architecture documentation.
qualifications:
- 1-4 years of experience in a Cisco-focused network engineering role and CCNA certification.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, firewalls, and Meraki WAP.
- Knowledge of SDWAN, VPN administration, and network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Thousand Eyes).
