responsibilities:
The Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the data entry of routing requests from our vendor booking system
into our Order Management System (OMS).
- Organizing routing requests and sending to carrier partners for shipment assignments.
- Managing new user account setup in our vendor booking system.
- Maintaining an organized file of shipment data to ensure entries are complete and accurate.
- Adhering to data management best practices and maintaining a high standard of accuracy
and efficiency.
- Working closely with transportation planning analysts to support the flow of goods
from our domestic vendors.
The Skills that will Make You Successful
- A high school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of experience working as a data entry specialist.
- Exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to spot errors with
accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships; you will
collaborate with many of our external strategic partners: vendors and carriers.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent typing skills and experience working with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel,
etc.
