responsibilities:
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers, encouraging their professional development and growth.
- Provide direction, set clear priorities, and ensure accountability across the team.
- Oversee the complete product lifecycle, from initial concept to development, launch, and market adoption.
- Craft and implement product strategies and roadmaps that align with the organization's goals and vision.
- Stay informed about customer needs, market shifts, and industry trends to guide product development.
- Work alongside technology leaders to ensure product development is in sync with technical capabilities and constraints.
- Collaborate with bank and credit union clients to gather insights and refine product solutions.
- Present product strategies, progress, and insights to executives and key stakeholders.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the success of products and drive informed decisions.
- Utilize data and customer feedback to optimize product offerings and improve overall performance.
- Collaborate with teams across marketing, sales, and operations to ensure successful product launches and continued success post-launch.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, offering expertise on product capabilities and strategies.
- Experience in managing and mentoring teams of Product Managers and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior leadership and cross-departmental teams.
- A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to solving problems.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences and solving customer pain points.
- Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities efficiently.
qualifications:
- 10+ years in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Strong background in banking technology, specifically with online banking and core system integrations.
- Proven success in bringing products from concept through to full market launch.
- Experience working with community banks and credit unions is a strong plus.
skills:
- Deep understanding of SaaS platforms and the challenges they present.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Experience in establishing and tracking KPIs to ensure product success and drive continuous improvement.
