job summary:
We are seeking a candidate with the ability to tackle problems of limited to moderate scope and complexity. The individual will work under close supervision, adhering to established policies and procedures, with some tasks conducted under general supervision. Primary interactions will be with immediate supervisors and members of the team, and occasionally with external contacts. Errors in judgment may necessitate a moderate expenditure of resources to resolve.

responsibilities:
The selected candidate will join a team reporting to the X-Lab O&S Leadership, focusing on the daily monitoring, operations, and maintenance of the X-Lab systems within an experimental environment. Key responsibilities include:

- Providing first-level technical support to X-Lab Experiment Leads.

- Conducting initial troubleshooting of all X-Lab hardware, software, and networks.

- Documenting and reporting all events/issues to X-Lab Leadership.

- Receiving tasking and direction from X-Lab O&S Leadership for operations, tests, experimentation, and real-world events.

- Assisting with hardware/software installations as directed by local subject matter experts (SMEs).

- Performing additional duties and assignments as required.

 
qualifications:
Job Requirements -

- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent education/experience

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a directly applicable position

- Must meet and maintain DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification requirements, such as Security+

- Responsible for maintaining DoD 8570 certification for the duration of the contract

 
skills: Desired Skills & Experience -

- Experience and knowledge of the C2BMC System or Missile Defense Systems.

- Proficiency with Atlassian Confluence and Jira.

- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
