Strong technical and business acumen, particularly in the implementation of Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Data Marts, is essential, along with expertise in managing high-transaction volume deployments.

responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and identify impactful use cases.
- Design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines using enterprise data platforms.
- Build robust and reusable data pipelines following best practices and coding standards.
- Work closely with data scientists to prepare data for machine learning models.
- Create and integrate Python scripts and SQL queries for data analysis.
- Utilize cloud-based tools such as AWS, S3, Azure Databricks, and other platforms for data storage and integration.
- Monitor and maintain data pipelines, resolving issues as they arise.
- Stay up to date with advancements in data engineering and industry trends.
- Document pipelines and processes for effective knowledge sharing.
qualifications:
- Preferred: Cloud data architect certifications (e.g., Azure, Databricks, Microsoft, AWS).
- Certification in data architecture/data management (e.g., TOGAF, DAMA) is a plus.
- 12+ years of experience in Data Management, including Data Quality, Data Modeling, Data Governance, Data Integration, Metadata Management, and Data Security.
- 10+ years of experience leading enterprise data architecture initiatives across technology and business domains.
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing end-to-end Data Warehouses, with strong SQL expertise and experience using technologies such as SSIS, Power BI, Tableau, or ThoughtSpot.
- At least 4+ years of experience in the financial industry or a related domain.
- 2+ years of experience leading distributed teams and working in cloud-based data environments.
- Proven ability to drive data initiatives and collaborate across engineering and business functions.
- Experience with on-premises to cloud migration projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in performance optimization, data cataloging, and data lineage.
- Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
