responsibilities:
- Tax Filings & Documentation: Prepare federal and state income tax returns along with detailed supporting documentation.
- Audit & Compliance Support: Assist with state apportionment work papers, handle state income tax audits, and manage various gross receipt tax return filings.
- Correspondence & Administration: Analyze tax correspondence, direct inquiries to the appropriate parties, and help maintain our overall tax policy.
- Research & Planning: Occasionally conduct research and assist in strategic tax planning exercises.

skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration with an emphasis in Taxation required. CPA certification is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year in tax compliance, return preparation, tax research & planning, or a related field. Experience in multi-state tax preparation is a plus.
