We have an onsite Service Desk Analyst opportunity to become an essential part of our clients Information Services team! In this role, you'll be the go-to technical expert for our employees, providing hands-on support that keeps our organization running smoothly. Operating from our modern office environment, you'll leverage your technical troubleshooting skills and customer service expertise to resolve hardware and software issues while building strong relationships across the company.

responsibilities:
- Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries ensuring employee's needs are addressed in a timely manner.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues utilizing the Service Desk Knowledge Base Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
- Ensure quality entries by adhering to the Incident Management and Service Management documented processes
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with IS support teams Participate in process improvement opportunities
- Perform other duties as assigned.
qualifications:
- Completion of post-secondary degree or certificate and/or 1year experience in a diverse technology and customer service focused role.
- Basic experience and training in troubleshooting and providing Service Desk function.
- Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware, and other equipment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows 7 and Office 2007.
- Basic networking troubleshooting skills.
- Basic knowledge using software based incident tracking.
- Experience with ITSM tracking tool is considered an asset.
- Basic experience with ITIL Processes is considered an asset.
