We are seeking an Electronic Technician to work as a Warranty Analyst to perform initial analysis of returned components.

responsibilities:
The Warranty Analyst collects all returned components and transports them to the lab, checks the returned components into the system with the minimum information (component serial number, date code, part number, arrival date, manufacturer, manufacturer part number, and product name.) The Warranty Analyst will perform initial analysis ("triage") of the returned components. Results will be recorded and made available for the CI Teams and Management at ISG. This may include the following activities:
- Receive returned warranty units into the returns analysis lab and check-in returned components
- Perform initial analysis of components and record the results following the Warranty Analysis Requirements Documents ("WARD") process
- Provide information to Continuous Integration ("CI") Teams at their regular team meetings regarding returned components
- Track components through analysis cycle
- Prepare components for shipping (create Return Merchandize Authorization and deliver to facilities personnel)
- Manage Return Part Delinquencies, Closures and Maintenance ("RGAs")
- Record analysis findings for specific components
- Develop and maintain work instructions for all related work tasks
- Create WARDs for new products
- Manage Auto-Recall List
- Complete Warranty Warehouse System data scrubbing every week
- Maintain order and cleanliness in the lab
qualifications:
Job Requirements - Electronics Technician
Experience with lab equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, RF Noise Isolation chamber, power supplies, meters
Experience with data gathering and reporting using standard Office products (Excel, PowerPoint)

John Deere experience
skills: Background as an Electronic Technician as well as John Deere experience
