Seeking a highly skilled Wireless Engineer to join our Advanced Commercial Engineering (ACE) team within the telecommunications industry. This role involves planning, forecasting, implementing, and identifying resource requirements for complex wireless network systems. The Wireless Engineer will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing wireless network enhancements while making recommendations for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in wireless network architecture and design, as well as troubleshooting and performance optimization. This role offers a dynamic and collaborative environment where innovation and problem-solving are essential. The Wireless Engineer will contribute to the advancement of cutting-edge wireless technologies while ensuring optimal network performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:
- Participate in wireless network planning, architecture design, and engineering.
- Integrate and document communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission, signaling links, and protocols into complete wireless network configurations.
- Evaluate new products and resolve wireless network issues.
- Develop and implement approved methods of procedure for wireless network operations.
- Design, develop, and enhance wireless network infrastructure while providing recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct performance, functionality, and security testing for Broadband Network Gateway (BNG), Wireless Controllers, and Wireless Access Points, including testing new system releases and fixes.
- Troubleshoot system integration issues affecting Managed WiFi solutions in end-to-end environments.
- Create detailed design (DSN), implementation (IMP), and certification (CRT) documents for solutions and software releases supporting Managed WiFi solutions.
- Support Wireless Operations teams as needed.
- Assist with additional development and testing projects within the ACE team.
- Troubleshoot operating systems, services, applications, protocols, and networks across all layers of the OSI model to ensure full end-to-end support for Managed WiFi solutions.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet project deadlines effectively.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in wireless network engineering.
- Industry certifications such as Cisco Certified Wireless Network Professional (CCNP).
- Wireless industry and vendor-specific training (Cisco, Ariss, Ruckus, Juniper, Aruba, etc.).
skills: Skills and Expertise:
- Proficiency in data wireless networking concepts, including the OSI Model and TCP/IP.
- Strong knowledge of wireless industry specifications and standards, including IEEE, ANSI, and 802.11 variants.
- Expertise in bridging, switching, routing, Ethernet, and transport technologies and protocols.
- Extensive experience in wireless network design, architecture, protocols, and topology.
- Strong familiarity with basic wireless network devices, appliances, and their configurations.
- Proficiency in wireless network design software such as Visio.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite for documentation and reporting.
