Agile Product Management serves as the internal voice of the customer. Defines system features and participates in validation. Responsible for the scope of work that the Agile Release Train (ART) will complete, and the vision and roadmap for the Agile Release Train (ART). Must be aware of other work being completed within the Portfolio so that they can help teams proactively manage risks and dependencies. The incumbent provides counsel and advice to top management on significant matters, often requiring coordination between organizations. Focuses on providing thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines. Recognized internally as "the go-to person" for the most complex assignments.
Manage a portfolio of pharmacy projects in various stages of the product life cycle. Be responsible for overall delivery of the capabilities across all domains within the project.
- Drive executive level understanding, building credibility and trust as the primary subject matter expert for Pharmacy Domain.
- Work efficiently with multiple internal and external stakeholders to overcome design, build and delivery challenges
- Make day to day business decisions to manage project scope and budget to agree upon deliverables.
- Actively manage the program backlog and update on project progress to executive leadership as required
- Provides counsel and advice to management on significant Systems Analysis matters, often requiring coordination between organizations.
- Under general direction, works on extremely complex issues/problems or assignments of large scope, impact, and importance.
- Analyzes, designs and prepares application/system specifications for information systems solutions which address business needs and methods for testing and installing them.
- Formulates and defines system scope and objectives based on user defined needs.
- Devises or modifies procedures to solve the most complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
- Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
- Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.
- May work with client management to identify and specify the complex business requirements and processes, and in the application design, testing and implementation process (e.g., diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools, etc.).
- Has full functional knowledge of all phases of software development lifecycle. Responsible for ensuring quality assurance review partnering with Quality Engineering team.
- Focuses on providing thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines.
- Recognized internally as "the go-to person" for the pharmacy domain, with deep understanding across all operational areas.
- Collaborate with the business, compliance, and cross functional IT stakeholders to define a roadmap that clearly defines the priorities and business value
- Perform data related investigations, track lineage and quality issues, reviews data layout and structures
- Facilitate source business owner review sessions and plan/execute E2E, integration, and data quality validations
- Must have the ability to handle multiple and sometimes competing priorities in a fast-paces environment
- Must be a quick learner and a team player
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in product management, working knowledge of Health plan, Pharmacy benefit manager or Health services experience strongly preferred
- Certification as a Product management OR Product owner is preferred
- Hands-on experience working on ALM tools such as JIRA, Rally, TFS, etc managing product and program backlogs
- Demonstrated ability to organize thoughts and vision into presentation ready deliverables
skills: The Agile Product Management Senior Advisor on the Pharmacy Technology Strategy Team will play a key role in managing portfolio initiatives for the Pharmacy line-of-business.
The candidate will work closely with pharmacy business stakeholders across several operational domains such as Enrollment, Clinical Operations, Pharmacy Operations and Pharmacy Benefit Manager. Other key non-pharmacy specific functional areas include Digital, Data & Analytics, Broker, Provider teams
