We are looking for an experienced VMWare Administrator to join our team! The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in VMWare and vCenter, along with experience in virtualization infrastructure optimization, troubleshooting, and automation. This role is based in Oklahoma City, but remote candidates will be considered if no local options are available.

responsibilities:
- VMWare & vCenter Administration - Hands-on experience managing, configuring, and troubleshooting VMWare environments.
- vRealize / Aria Suite - Preferred experience in vRealize Operations (vROps) and other Aria Suite tools.
- Resource Tracking & Tagging - Identify and tag existing resources for better management.
- Incident Management & Operational Support - Assist in transitioning operational tasks and incident handling.
- Monitoring & Reporting - Work with vROps and other tools to track performance, generate reports, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Security & Compliance Implementation - Execute security tasks and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Automation & Orchestration - Contribute to automation efforts for infrastructure efficiency.
- Migration & Performance Optimization - Assist with upcoming migration projects and improve server performance by right-sizing over-provisioned servers.
- Documentation & Technical Writing - Maintain process documentation, technical standards, and operational guidelines.
qualifications:
- VMWare Administration - 8+ years of hands-on experience managing VMWare environments.
- vCenter - 5+ years of experience with vCenter management and optimization.
- Troubleshooting & Incident Resolution - Strong problem-solving skills in a virtualized infrastructure.
- Experience with vRealize Operations (vROps) / Aria Suite.
- Knowledge of automation tools such as PowerShell or Ansible.
- Experience with performance monitoring and infrastructure optimization.
