responsibilities:
- Become a Trusted Advisor: Proactively identify and engage prospective retail clients, focusing on franchises and multi-location businesses, to introduce our comprehensive IT solutions.
- Drive Strategic Growth: Execute targeted outbound sales strategies, including networking, industry events, and strategic outreach, to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Craft Tailored Solutions: Partner with clients to understand their specific challenges and develop customized technology solutions, emphasizing mobile device management, point-of-sale systems, and managed IT services.
- Showcase Proven Success: Present compelling case studies (while maintaining client confidentiality) to demonstrate the tangible benefits of our turnkey IT solutions in retail environments.
- Lead the Sales Journey: Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial consultation to contract negotiation and client onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Cultivate Key Relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers in the franchise and franchisor space, establishing Foundation Technologies as the preferred technology partner.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of retail innovation.
- Achieve and Exceed Targets: Develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with company growth objectives, consistently exceeding performance goals.
- Foster Long-Term Partnerships: Provide exceptional post-sale support and consultation, identifying opportunities to expand service offerings and ensure ongoing client satisfaction.
qualifications:
- 3-5 years of proven B2B sales experience, ideally within the retail technology or IT services sector.
- A demonstrated track record of generating new business and closing complex sales through a consultative approach.
- A deep understanding of retail operations and the unique technological challenges faced by franchises and multi-location retailers.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technology concepts in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Expertise in developing customized solutions that address the specific needs of multi-location retail businesses.
- Proficiency in using CRM platforms and other sales automation tools.
- A self-driven and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
skills:
- Experience selling IT solutions to the franchise and franchisor market.
- Knowledge of Apple technologies and mobile device management (MDM) systems.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail technology solutions.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to meet with clients and attend industry events. Travel percentage may increase for non-local candidates.
