responsibilities:
RACF involves coordinating with technical teams to address and remediate identified health-check concerns in IBM z/OS and RACF environments. The role requires reviewing security issues in line with STIG requirements, suggesting potential remediations, and ensuring compliance. You'll engage in project management activities, including tracking progress and communicating with stakeholders. Regular reporting and presenting risk and remediation solutions to management are key tasks, ensuring that all actions align with security standards and project goals.
qualifications:
- 7-15 years of experience in RACF mainframe security
- Experience with IBM z/OS Mainframe environments
- Strong knowledge of IBM Security Server (RACF), TN3270 interfaces (QWS3270), 3270 session monitors (TPX), TSO, and ISPF
- Project management experience
- Familiarity with MS Office products and Planview
- Experience with Mainframe auditing tools (Stig Viewer, Vanguard Administrator, IBM zSecure Audit for RACF, REXX, JCL) is a plus
- Intermediate-level RACF technical skill set
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work collaboratively within the existing RACF team
