Reporting to the Vice President, the Executive Director is responsible for the planning, execution, and evaluation of designated projects, ensuring adherence to established budgets, timelines, and specific project requirements. This role involves providing an added level of coordination and communication while overseeing the implementation of applications, application areas, or specialized teams according to project specifications. The Executive Director is expected to maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and team members and perform any additional duties as assigned.

responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of designated projects, ensuring alignment with established budgets, timelines, and project goals.
- Oversee the implementation of applications or specialized teams as specified in the project plan, ensuring smooth execution and delivery.
- Coordinate project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional stakeholders to meet project objectives.
- Manage project resources, including schedules, budgets, and team assignments, while ensuring optimal utilization and minimizing risks.
- Maintain ongoing communication with senior leadership and stakeholders, providing regular project updates, identifying potential issues, and recommending solutions.
- Ensure that all project documentation, reports, and deliverables are accurately completed and stored according to organizational standards.
- Foster strong working relationships across teams, promoting a collaborative environment to meet project objectives and deadlines.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance project efficiency and performance.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for a Master's degree in Information Systems (IS) or business. Certification in Project Management (PMI) and experience in IT or healthcare.
The candidate will be required to successfully complete the Epic pre-assessment testing.
Certification in Epic applications is a plus.
skills: The candidate must have experience managing projects where team members do not report directly to the project manager and have demonstrated success in a team-oriented environment.
