SUMMARY OF DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, manage, lead, and oversee the end-to-end delivery of requirements throughout the lifecycle of the project in alignment with business and/or enterprise needs and strategies. Provide leadership and work collaboratively with stakeholders, including business, technology, and finance partners, to support project benefits and changes to business processes, policies, and systems across single or multiple Lines of Business (LoB).
Financial Responsibilities:
- Owning the delivery of high-level requirements to drive successful cost estimation for projects and requirement changes.
- Forecasting, defining, and managing requirements effort, including cost and timeline.
- Supporting Requests for Information (RFI) or Requests for Proposal (RFP) with vendors if required.
- Contributing to seed funding requests by ensuring project scope and benefits are clearly articulated and risks identified.
- Identifying risks or issues with technology solutions or design that may impact realization of project benefits and providing guidance to stakeholders for proactive mitigation.
- Ensuring accuracy of business requirements documentation to mitigate project changes and reduce/manage costs.
- Analyzing and challenging requirement change requests to ensure alignment with original business needs.
- Defining business objectives and strategic alignment to ensure accurate delivery of business requirements in support of the business case.
- Delivering detailed-level requirements to support downstream estimates and successful project execution.
- May contribute with the business owner to define measures of success as outlined in the project charter.
