responsibilities:
- Business Requirements Preparation: Review business requirements and translate them into use cases, screenshots, and examples for new features. This involves working closely with stakeholders to ensure clarity.
- Creating User Stories: Write detailed user stories from business requirements, ensuring the development team has a clear understanding of the logic needed to implement features.
- End-to-End Project Tasks: Oversee all tasks in the project lifecycle, including testing and delivery of user stories within established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Updating Status: Keep track of the project phase and regularly update the status of user stories, ensuring alignment with the project timeline and objectives.
- Gap Analysis: Analyze business requirements for any gaps or areas of ambiguity and work with relevant teams to fill in those gaps for smoother project execution.
- Review and Validation: Participate in reviews of functional specifications, confirming understanding of the requirements and validating them for correctness.
- Coordination with Teams: Work cross-functionally with various teams, such as functional user representatives, development, and RUN teams, to ensure the successful testing and implementation of change requests.
- Technical Skills Application: Use technical skills, particularly in SQL, PLSQL, Oracle DBMS, and Linux Shell Scripting, to support tasks and troubleshooting.
- Data Warehousing and ETL: Apply knowledge of data warehousing and ETL concepts in projects where relevant, contributing to the data flow and integration processes.
- XML Basics: Leverage knowledge of XML to assist with system integration tasks or data exchanges between systems.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications:
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Database Administrator certification.
- SQL Server Certification or equivalent.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certifications, especially for roles involving user stories and project management.
- ITIL Certification for service management and process understanding.
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) for advanced business analysis skills.
- Industry Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or project management.
- 3-5 years of experience with SQL, PLSQL programming, and working with Oracle DBMS in a production environment.
- 3-5 years of experience in software development, implementation, and testing.
- Experience working with Linux Shell Scripting in an enterprise setting.
- 2-3 years of experience in data warehousing and ETL processes is a plus.
- Experience with XML-based systems and integrations.
- Technical Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience in business requirements gathering and use case development.
- Proficiency in creating and managing user stories and working with Agile methodologies.
- Experience with systems integration, including working with cross-functional teams for testing and change implementation.
- Additional Skills:
- Project Management or Agile Project Management experience with tools like JIRA or Trello.
- Familiarity with Data Warehousing Concepts and ETL tools for data integration.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and DevOps practices is an advantage.
