- License/Certification: PMP or CAPM certification preferred.

Story Behind the Need - Business Group & Key Projects
- This is a unique role that will be supporting projects & initiatives across two arms of the Portfolio Management Office (PMO): the Compliance area and the Financial Management area. This high visibility role is a backfill position that a self-motivated and detail-oriented PM with strong business process and data analysis skills will succeed in.
- The Compliance team is small, but mighty. It is currently comprised of one manager, and two team members. The focus of the team is to PM work activities across a variety of Compliance and Remediation issues, bringing transparency and accountability and fostering a culture of Operational Excellence in the Infrastructure organization.
- The Financial Management team is comprised of one manager, and three team members. The focus of the team is to provide financial insight into the Infrastructure Portfolio, including actuals vs. forecast, cost pools, and key budget drivers.
- Together, these two branches of the PMO manage a collection of projects and initiatives to improve the performance and operation of the PMO, and by extension, the overall functioning of the Infrastructure organization.

Typical Day in the Role:
- As a vital team member, you will be responsible for driving a variety of Projects and Initiatives across the IT Infrastructure Portfolio Management Office (PMO). Typical projects for this role include Compliance/Remediation focused endeavors as well as Business Process Management/Improvement endeavors to improve the overall functioning of our PMO.
- This is a remote position which requires extensive use of Video Calls via Microsoft Teams to drive and/or participate in project calls, stakeholder meetings, and Leadership presentations.
- A typical day might include:
- 50% project/initiative stakeholder meetings
- 30% independent work, including: research, analysis, formatting data for deriving insights & leadership presentation
- 20% issues management, communication & planning

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, format, and decipher complex datasets to derive essential insights to be presented to various management levels to influencing business decisions.
- Competent in data analysis and presentation using a variety of software platforms, including Excel (must), Power BI (Preferred), and Tableau (nice to have). Candidate must have a specific aptitude in Excel with the ability to - at a minimum - create Pivot Tables & Charts as well as perform V-Lookups (must) and X-Lookups (Preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to perform Core Project Management Functions including: Defining project scope, goals, and timelines; Creating detailed project plans and managing project budgets; Assigning tasks to team members and tracking project progress; Facilitating project meetings and managing stakeholder communication; Identifying and mitigating project risks.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to stakeholders at all levels
