responsibilities:
- Strategic Audit Leadership: Lead and execute comprehensive IT audits, with a strong focus on Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
- Risk Assessment & Control Evaluation: Conduct detailed risk assessments of IT controls and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes.
- Audit Execution & Documentation: Perform detailed audit procedures, including walkthroughs, testing, and documentation of findings, ensuring clear and concise reporting.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise, mentor, and develop IT audit team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Process Improvement & Innovation: Contribute to the enhancement of IT audit methodologies and participate in initiatives involving emerging technologies like Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and data analytics.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with diverse stakeholders, including IT, finance, and operational teams, to ensure alignment and effective communication of audit findings.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting Information Systems, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive IT audit experience, with a strong emphasis on SOX ITGC or IT application audits. (Public accounting experience, particularly from a Big 4 firm, is highly valued.)
- Deep understanding of audit frameworks (COSO, ITIL, COBIT, GRC) and practical experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Microsoft Excel, Power BI, etc.).
- Certifications such as CISA, CIA, CISSP, or CPA are highly desirable
skills:
- Proven ability to lead and mentor audit teams, demonstrating strong project management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with RPA tools like UiPath is a plus.
