For this contractor assignment, looking for an IT Apps Programmer Sr contractor for a migrating MuleSoft code from Java 1.8 to Java 17. All API code needs to be recompiled according to Java 17 requirements.

responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

- Develop APIs using Mule Anypoint Platform and the Dataweave

- Modify existing APIs such as endpoint change

- Add subscription to existing APIs

- Provide production support as needed

- Elevate code using CICD pipelines

- Participate in code reviews

- Convert code in Java 1.8 to Java 17

- Document solutions as needed

- Attend weekly change reviews

- Conduct postman testing

 
qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum four years of related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.

- In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher, the completion of a technical training program, and a minimum of four years related work experience.

- In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher and a minimum of six years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
