Typical Day in the Role
- There will be no OT for this project. The day to day will include touchpoints with the whole team (8 other engineers) to go over current work as part of standard 3x weekly Stand Up.

responsibilities:
- The early stages of the project will focus heavily on meeting with the multiple teams who either currently support the existing process or are downstream consumers of the data and recording their needs in a business requirements document which will serve as a blueprint for the future solution. Once that requirement gathering phase of the project has reached an appropriate stage, a draft data dictionary will be established and building will begin using a combination of GitLab, dbt, and Snowflake.

- Must haves: 1+ years of experience. Experience in requirement gathering and documentation. Demonstrated usage of dbt (data build tool) and Snowflake in a production environment.
- Nice to haves: Usage of git for version control. Broad understanding of differences in SQL variations across different platforms (Teradata preferred)
- Disqualifiers: No experience with DBT nor snowflake
