SUMMARY
Assist in leading a team that supports Financial Advisors enterprise wide within the mainframe environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Manager and on-shore mainframe developers to ensure design, build and delivery is reliable.
- Will be responsible for running SQL, looking at data, giving estimates, reviewing requirements and conducting impact analysis.
- Provide direction and oversight to ensure deadlines are met on time.
- Guide and mentor developers on the team
- Research and adapt to new practices and technologies
- Work closely with stakeholders to define platform requirements and underlying service implementations
- Assist in troubleshoot/fix issues
- Develpment experience in mainframe, COBOL and DB2. (role is 90% leading/10% development)

- Excellent Communication Skills
- Ability to lead and guide teams off-shore
- Must have a financial industry background
- A positive/take charge attitude
- May need to occasionally work off-short hours to conduct meetings
