responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to document user stories and business requirements, ensuring clarity and traceability for technology teams.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, including system requirements, flow charts, report mock-ups, and business rules.
- Facilitate design sessions with business and technical teams to develop solutions that meet business needs and ensure operational excellence.
- Provide technical guidance on product and database design, ensuring alignment between user needs and technology capabilities.
- Utilize advanced SQL programming skills to analyze large datasets, extract meaningful insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Develop project plans, prioritize tasks, and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and management.
- Manage and respond to change requests, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Remove impediments and foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
- Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives, feedback loops, and knowledge sharing in Confluence.
- Coordinate dependencies with Scrum Masters and stakeholders to maintain priority alignment.
- Work with QA and business stakeholders to conduct data validation, ensuring the integrity and quality of delivered solutions.
- Advocate for automation, self-service capabilities, and process efficiency to enhance accuracy and eliminate manual operations.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably in PBM, CMS, or Medicare Part D programs within the healthcare industry.
- Strong proficiency in advanced SQL programming and data analysis techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio (or Miro), SharePoint, Atlassian JIRA, and Confluence.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- ScrumMaster experience is a plus.
