responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure an integrated approach with business management areas and broader organizational strategy.
- Apply deep knowledge of technology, business processes, and industry best practices to drive data solutions.
- Stay informed on market trends, competition, and emerging technologies relevant to data engineering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve business problems using data-driven insights.
- Manage and resolve client issues by working with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Exercise sound judgment and discretion in navigating and resolving complex or ambiguous issues.
- Lead and oversee a large, complex data reporting function, managing risk and ensuring operational excellence.
- Review and present insights to executive leaders to drive strategic decision-making.
- Work closely with business partners to prioritize and execute ad hoc analyses based on organizational needs.
- Develop data pipelines and ETL processes within the Azure ecosystem using Python and PySpark.
- Extract, transform, and load data from Azure/Databricks to build scalable data solutions.
- Design and implement business intelligence dashboards and reporting platforms using Tableau and Power BI.
- Maintain and enhance data quality and governance while ensuring compliance with security and privacy guidelines.
- Execute comprehensive testing to ensure data solutions are robust, secure, and performant.
- Participate in defect triages, audits, and reviews of test artifacts to meet quality assurance standards.
- Implement best practices in Quality Engineering (QE) and maintain accurate status tracking/reporting.
- Design and execute test and learn strategies to optimize data solutions and product performance.
- Lead complex analytics projects, identifying opportunities to enhance data workflows and efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership in Azure data architecture, data modeling, and performance optimization.
