job summary:
Randstad Engineering Solutions is looking for qualified system engineers to join our embedded engineering team to support verification efforts of an Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) platform. We are looking for system engineers with robust knowledge in DO-178B level A, ARINC 664 and ARINC 429 with the ability to support coverage analysis efforts across various levels with the project for hardware, software and systems. IMA experience as well as test case/test procedure development, review, and analysis highly preferred.

responsibilities:
"We are seeking embedded system engineers with DO-178B Level A IMA platform experience. You will be expected to:
- Support verification efforts on the 777x project through completing work to close out Problem Report.
o Execute Python test scripts in the IMA Systems lab.
o Analyze Failures from script execution, find root cause and update Scripts and/or Script Template.
o Execute Platform verification procedures in the IMA Systems lab.
o Write PRs for failures encountered during procedure execution.
- Support coverage analysis efforts to ensure requirements are properly covered across various levels within the project (HW, SW & Systems).
- Support changes to systems changes on the 777x project through completing work to close out Problem Reports applied to requirement changes.
You will work directly with our end customer."

qualifications:
Prior experience with Integrated Modular Avionics architecture.
Prior experience managing or designing within an Avionics Design Assurance Level A or B Environment.
Experience with DO-297, DO-178, DO-254 and/or DO-330 process assurance experience.
Prior experience working on A653 partition-based operating system.
Familiarity with networking products or data concentrator systems.
Familiarity with interfaces including but not limited to analog, discrete, RS-232/422/485, ARINC 429/664/825.
Prior experience managing or designing within an Avionics Design Assurance Level A or B Environment.
Experience with engineering processes including requirements definition, requirements allocation, requirements validation, requirements verification, integration, embedded software, electronic systems, FAA/EASA/NAA certification, and system safety.
Version Control tool experience.
Self-motivated and able to track and report performance to cost and schedule.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
