Looking for contractor on the Surface Audio SW/FW development team. The candidate will have experience in windows drivers and debugging. Job responsibilities include drivers' development, integration, tools and scripts development, maintenance and update.

responsibilities:
- Modify existing code and provide new solutions on upcoming projects that align with the architecture and roadmap.

- Develop drivers, integrate and ensure proper release management and timely delivery.

- Collaborate with peers, cross functional teams and product teams to ensure smooth development process.

- Take on bugs and resolve them on a timely manner with quality fixes partnering with the test team.

- Participate in Standups, Sprint and sync meetings to provide updates.

 
qualifications:
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.

- Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.

- Basic knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.

- Basic ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.

- C, C++ and scripts etc.

- Ability to handle workflow management like ADO and knowledge of git.

- Device drivers experience and debugging in Windows environment.

- Audio knowledge and experience in Audio systems is a big plus.
