Job Purpose:
The Technical Architect II is responsible for the strategic design, implementation, and management of the
organization's infrastructure. This role focuses on creating scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that align with
business objectives. This role will provide technical leadership, guide infrastructure strategy, ensure the reliability
and performance of environments and work closely with other architects and technology leaders and
stakeholders.

Architecture Design & Leadership
- Leads the development and implementation of comprehensive, enterprise-wide infrastructure architecture frameworks that ensure consistency, scalability, and alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
- Oversees infrastructure architecture initiatives across multiple business units, ensuring seamless design and delivery of complex infrastructure solutions that address enterprise needs.
- Conducts architecture reviews and ensures that solutions meet scalability, security, performance, and reusability standards across the organization.
- Develops and maintains a forward-looking infrastructure architecture vision and roadmaps that support the organization's long-term business strategy and digital transformation goals.
- Oversees enterprise-scale infrastructure integration initiatives, ensuring that systems from multiple, diverse sources are integrated into a cohesive and unified architecture that supports business operations and continuity.
- Provides technical leadership for infrastructure architecture, ensuring that advanced infrastructure design, deployment, and integration practices adhere to industry best practices and organizational standards.
- An expert in architecting web services using multiple technologies in cloud and on-prem to support complex, interdependent 3-tier architecture for enterprise-wide applications.
- Oversees and guides the entire migration process from strategy to execution, developing migration solutions and optimizing existing processes. Provide expert guidance on complex migration challenges and risk management and lead large-scale migration projects.
- Incorporates governance principles into architectural decisions, ensuring that infrastructure management practices adhere to organizational policies.
- Establishes and oversees quality standards, including system performance, reliability, and monitoring processes.
- Ensures that security measures, such as access control and encryption, are appropriately implemented for sensitive infrastructure components.
- Serves as the primary liaison to executive leadership on infrastructure architecture strategy, presenting strategic recommendations and influencing key decisions for enterprise infrastructure initiatives.
- Translates complex technical and architectural concepts into clear, business-relevant insights, ensuring alignment between infrastructure strategies and overall business outcomes.
- Builds and nurtures relationships with executive leadership, IT, and business unit leaders to champion the infrastructure architecture strategy across the organization.
- Shapes the future direction of the organization's infrastructure architecture by staying informed on emerging technologies, evaluating their potential adoption, and leading the execution of future-state architectures.
- Collaborates with executive leadership to drive innovation and ensure the organization remains competitive by leveraging innovative technologies and infrastructure practices.
- Champions proof-of-concept initiatives for innovative technologies and infrastructure solutions that align with the organization's strategic vision.
- Provides mentorship and leadership to infrastructure architects, engineers, and cross-functional teams, fostering talent and ensuring high-quality architecture solutions.
- Leads and guides cross-functional teams in the design and delivery of infrastructure architecture solutions, ensuring timely execution and adherence to enterprise standards.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or related professional work experience.
- 10+ years hands-on experience in relevant technical domains, including architecture and management, as noted below.
- Proven experience in leading large-scale infrastructure architecture projects in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience in one or more areas in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure), enterprise storage and systems solutions, Platform, Infrastructure-Security, and/or network architecture.
- In-depth knowledge of infrastructure governance frameworks, security standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Expertise in architecting solutions that span diverse platforms and technologies, ensuring infrastructure scalability and efficiency.
- Mastery of infrastructure design tools, integration platforms, and performance management systems.
- Strong strategic thinking and leadership abilities, with proven experience driving enterprise-wide infrastructure architecture initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to translate technical architecture decisions into business outcomes and build a consensus across departments.
- Deep understanding and expertise in different migration strategies to migrate workloads from on-prem to cloud and vice versa.
- Experience in developing high availability and BCDR (Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery) cloudbased capabilities.
- Good understanding of Azure cloud from infrastructure, security, systems and BCDR capabilities.

- Is an expert in various cloud platforms and cloud technologies and in architecting modern cloud architectures cloud services with private-cloud/(Hybrid-Cloud) and other cloud platforms (multi-Cloud) using scripting and automation skills and architect cloud solutions to align with business objectives.
- Develops high-level hybrid cloud architectures, integrating on-premises infrastructure with Azure public and private cloud environments.
- Ensures seamless data and application mobility between cloud environments, optimizing resource utilization and cost-efficiency.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and cloud management.
- Expert in cloud platforms such as Azure, and good understanding of AWS, GCP and monitoring tools like Dynatrace.
- Understanding of cloud security principles, regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI), and best practices.
- Expertise in virtual networking (VNETs), just-in-time architecture, zero trust network architecture, and web application firewalls (WAF), express routes, user defined routes.
- Is an expert in designing and architecting complex solutions considering the interdependencies between various tools, systems, and enterprise applications to enhance the technical and business capabilities.
- Is an expert in storage technologies like SAN/NAS/DAS and has excellent technical and business understanding of inter-dependent systems and applications.
- Provides architectural guidance on the deployment and management of hypervisor environments, ensuring efficient virtualization of servers and storage.
- Designs high-level enterprise storage solutions, ensuring data availability, performance, and scalability.
- Guides the management of server infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
- Oversees high-level database architecture and management, ensuring data integrity, performance, and availability.
- Leads high-level datacenter optimization and refresh initiatives, ensuring that infrastructure remains upto-date and capable of supporting evolving business needs.
- Is an expert in architecting solutions using different operating systems across the enterprise, can develop a strategic roadmap on lifecycle, and Can architect complex solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
