responsibilities:
As the Cyber Security Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization's cybersecurity strategy and operations, with a strong focus on the Microsoft 365 platform and enterprise network infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Microsoft 365 Security Leadership: Architecting and implementing robust security policies, configurations, and governance for the entire Microsoft 365 suite (Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams), ensuring data protection, and enforcing identity and access management best practices.
- Network Security & Hardening Expertise: Overseeing and enhancing the security of both on-premises and cloud (including Azure and hybrid) network environments through firewall management, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, network segmentation, and rigorous hardening of servers, endpoints, and network devices.
- Strategic Cybersecurity Vision: Developing and executing a comprehensive cybersecurity roadmap aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements, conducting risk assessments, and establishing effective incident response plans.
- Hands-On Security Operations: Leading the investigation and response to security incidents, conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, performing log analysis, leveraging threat intelligence, and automating security tasks for enhanced efficiency.
- Security Awareness & Collaboration: Driving a culture of security awareness across the organization through collaboration with IT and executive leadership, and effectively partnering with third-party vendors to augment security capabilities.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership capacity.
- Demonstrable deep expertise in Microsoft 365 security, Azure security, and cloud-based security frameworks.
- Proven hands-on experience with firewalls, endpoint security solutions, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions, and vulnerability management tools.

- Comprehensive understanding of security best practices, relevant compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO 27001), and risk management methodologies.
- Significant experience in hardening IT systems, implementing security controls, and conducting thorough security assessments.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively balance strategic thinking and practical technical execution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell for security automation is a plus.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Security certifications (SC-200, SC-300, SC-400), or CEH are highly desirable.
