Proven history of technical accomplishment on high voltage (>100V) Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) design and projects. Experience working with a technical team in a product development environment. Practice a disciplined approach to problem solving. Able to make timely intelligent decisions regarding the execution of multiple parallel projects. Able to develop and execute plans with limited resources. Able to make intelligent decisions based on business priorities. Good communication skills.

- 5 to 10 Years minimum experience in high frequency power converters
- Understanding of common SMPS topologies
- Experience in AC-to-DC and/or DC-to-DC converter design, including detailed analysis of system efficiency and power loss breakdown, thermal analysis and debugging
- Proficient in Diode, MOSFET & Driver IC characteristics
- Proficient in End-to-End Power conversion Applications
- BSEE, MSEE preferred, or equivalent years of experience
- Spice simulation of power switching circuits
- Excel or MathCAD simulation of power supply efficiency and losses
- Component selection for optimized cost verses performance
- General power electronics lab experience (oscilloscope, power supplies, isolation)
