Job Description:
As a Senior Project Analyst, you will participate on projects that include cost reductions, process improvements, PeopleSoft or SAP deployments, Shared Service integrations, Finance system upgrades, business process design, and new functional process / new technology introductions. You may need to participate in multiple smaller scope projects depending on project portfolio and business needs and lead larger scope projects that align with career development.

responsibilities:
This role is responsible for supporting key Finance initiatives, including the implementation of OneStream for corporate consolidations, budgeting, and forecasting. The Project Analyst will focus on planning, requirements gathering, and design, followed by execution and implementation. Additionally, the role will contribute to transforming global FP&A processes by standardizing and integrating FP&A work into shared service centers.
Key responsibilities include analyzing current and future state processes, defining business and functional requirements, executing system testing, and supporting change management efforts. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop training materials, and provide subject matter expertise on finance systems and best practices. They will also drive process improvements, support system implementations, resolve complex issues, and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.

On-Site Work Requirements:
Prefer candidates who can be on site Monday-Friday, 8a-5p EST every week. Willing to support flexible options, specifically hybrid work schedules (e.g., 3x days in office M-F) and/or ability to travel on site 2x weeks a month (not necessarily consecutive weeks).
Required Education and Experience:
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
3 or more years experience working on Finance or Shared Service projects.
General accounting experience with Shared Services (Close/Record to Report).
skills: Required Skills:
Functional Finance (FICO) system knowledge of SAP S4 HANA.
Ability to assess priorities and manage many project activities at a time.
Capacity to work well under pressure with ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
Customer focused. Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented.
Demonstrates initiative and effectively manages self through a fast-paced environment.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and/or Project.

OneStream implementations.
Functional Finance system knowledge of PeopleSoft and/or SAP S4
Certified Green Belt.
Deep understanding of Shared Service process from work in deployment or integration projects.
Experience leading project/program metric setting and reporting results to various teams.
Experience reporting project/program progress and flagging potential conflicts early.
Exposure to leading project components, recommending process improvements and escalating potential risk exposures.
Familiarity with Corning's standards, processes, and tools.
Understanding of Shared Services Operations & Corning Functional processes (Finance, HR, Procurement, etc.).
