We are looking for a Senior AI/ML Computer Vision Engineer to lead the development and deployment of AI-driven features across automation product lines. This role is critical for optimizing real-time machine learning inference and video analytics at the edge, ensuring seamless cloud integration while maximizing efficiency and performance. The ideal candidate has a strong background in embedded AI, computer vision, and real-time video processing, with hands-on experience deploying and optimizing ML models on constrained edge devices.

responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize ML-based computer vision pipelines for real-time object detection, tracking, and classification across sensors such as cameras, radar, and LiDAR.
- Implement multi-sensor fusion techniques, integrating video, audio, and radar/LiDAR data to enhance smart device intelligence.
- Optimize deep learning models for low-latency inference on embedded hardware (e.g., TensorFlow Lite, ONNX Runtime, OpenVINO, NVIDIA Jetson, Coral Edge TPU).
- Apply quantization, pruning, and model compression to maximize performance on edge devices.
- Collaborate with the cloud team to develop edge-to-cloud data pipelines for efficient AI inference.
- Work on prompt engineering and descriptive AI to enhance AI interactions and automation.
qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in embedded AI, edge computing, and computer vision.
- Strong proficiency in C, C++, and Python for embedded AI development.
- At least 4 years of experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Darknet.
- Expertise in deploying machine learning models on resource-constrained edge devices.
- Proficiency in image and video processing with tools like PIL/Pillow, GStreamer, FFmpeg, and OpenCV.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience developing in embedded Linux and RTOS environments.
