We're seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead our critical Platform Engineering initiative. This 12-month contract role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our technology infrastructure while leveraging your expertise in IT and network engineering.

responsibilities:
- Manage multiple capital and O&M projects under supervision
- Lead team collaboration, problem-solving, and process improvement initiatives
- Implement sound project management principles and practices
- Develop business cases and project justifications with alternative solutions
- Create detailed project plans with clear scopes, responsibilities, and milestones
- Monitor project metrics to ensure safety, schedule, budget, scope, and compliance goals are met
- Develop technical specifications and coordinate with procurement for vendor services
- Negotiate scope changes and ensure timely contract completion
- Oversee design and construction activities for compliance and quality across disciplines
- Review and approve design documents and drawings
- Coordinate conceptual and detailed design development
- Communicate effectively with all levels of management for approvals and risk management
- Develop and monitor testing procedures and business process documentation
- Ensure quality assurance through coordination with field operations
- Analyze project data and generate reports
qualifications:
- Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of Project Management methodologies, practices and procedures
- Ability to handle complex assignments with minimum supervision
- Manages the planning, design, and construction of multiple capital and/or O&M projects under general supervision.
- Recommends and leads process improvements to existing Project Management processes and procedures
- Bachelors Degree
