We are seeking a Network Systems Engineer help develop and implement a Network Systems Engineering Plan for a missile defense program. Must have an active Security Clearance.

responsibilities:
The Network SE shall act as a Junior Engineer to help develop and implement the Network Systems Engineering Plan. The Networks SE will act as a liaison with other Network SE between the Networks ART and the Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) Resource Managed Area (RMA) and ensure that all processes and procedures are aligned and standardized.
Responsibilities:
- Candidate will help with all Networks requirements activities to include identification and management of Networks requirements baseline.
- Candidate will help support the development and review of system engineering artifacts (e.g. specifications, Interface Control Documents, Use Cases, System Architecture Descriptions, Trade Studies, etc.) and author/perform formal and informal engineering review as required.
- Candidate will be responsible for helping develop high-level design material to be incorporated into existing baselined Missile Defense System Communication Network Implementation Specification (MCNIS).
qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with 2 years of experience or a Masters with 0 years of experience.
- 8410 certification is required with in 60 days of starting.
- Understanding of systems engineering process and principles.
- Experience with system engineering principles to develop product solutions.
- Experience working in an integrated team environment with other systems, software and specialty engineers to develop solutions.
- Experience working large multi-site software development efforts including external interface development.
- Experience conducting or leading Analysis of Alternatives, Trade Studies and/or Design Evaluations.
- Experience in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and MBSE tools
- Excellent communications skills are required (written and oral) as is the ability to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings.
