We are seeking a Certified Epic Cogito Administrator to manage the reporting and analytics components of the Epic environment. This role requires strong expertise in SQL Server and specialized Epic software for ETL process management and report generation. As an Epic-certified professional, you will focus on optimizing data workflows and ensuring accurate reporting within Epic's analytics framework. While deep knowledge of Epic Cogito is essential, broader Epic deployment experience and Azure expertise are not primary requirements for this role.

responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Epic Cogito reporting and analytics environments.
- Develop, optimize, and manage SQL Server queries for Epic Clarity and Caboodle data warehouses.
- Oversee Epic ETL processes, ensuring smooth data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Generate and maintain Epic-based reports using Reporting Workbench and other Epic tools.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize data workflows.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in Epic's analytics and reporting environment.
- Implement best practices for report performance tuning and SQL query optimization.
- Work closely with Epic analysts, data engineers, and report writers to support business intelligence needs.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for Epic Cogito-related issues.
- Assist in Epic system upgrades and updates as they relate to the Cogito platform.
qualifications:
- Epic Cogito Certification - Must be Epic-certified in Cogito (Cogito Project Manager or Cogito Fundamentals).
- Experience with Epic Reporting & Analytics - Prior experience working with Epic Clarity, Caboodle, and Reporting Workbench.
- Strong SQL Server Knowledge - Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries for healthcare data analysis.
- ETL & Data Management Experience - Hands-on experience managing Epic's ETL processes and data warehousing.
- Healthcare IT Experience - Background in clinical or operational healthcare reporting and familiarity with HIPAA compliance.
