In addition to technical responsibilities, this role will spearhead the RunOps team operations, ensuring adherence to SLAs and fostering strong relationships with Stibo and other partners. The Sr. Software Engineer will also collaborate with senior engineers and architects to strategize and provide estimates for new initiatives, positioning Walgreens at the forefront of retail technology innovation.

qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with at least 7 years of hands-on experience in Master Data Management (MDM), including a minimum of 5 years on the Stibo Platform or comparable experience on other MDM platforms totaling 7 years. Demonstrated capability to stay updated with the latest industry developments and technologies in MDM, applying this knowledge to drive strategic initiatives and platform enhancements. Extensive experience in the governance of development environments, including maintaining synchronization between lower and production environments, and overseeing platform upgrades to ensure operational excellence and security. Proven ability to lead and drive the performance of RunOps teams, ensuring compliance with SLAs and effective liaison with external support providers like Stibo. Strong strategic planning skills, able to work in partnership with other senior technical staff to drive the roadmap for the platform, including detailed estimations and planning for new functionalities. Expertise in a range of programming languages and MDM relevant technologies such as Java, XML, XSLT, SQL, and APIs is essential. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical skills, with a track record of anticipating and preemptively addressing challenges in complex MDM implementations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of mentoring junior team members and collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
