responsibilities:
- Strategic Procurement: Lead the procurement lifecycle, from initial need identification to final delivery, ensuring alignment with company standards and budgetary constraints.
- Contract Lifecycle Management: Expertly manage all aspects of supplier contracts, including drafting, negotiation, execution, compliance monitoring, and performance evaluation.
- RFP Leadership: Spearhead the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, developing comprehensive documentation, establishing clear evaluation criteria, and guiding cross-functional teams through the selection process.
- Vendor Relationship Management: Serve as the primary liaison for both internal stakeholders and external vendors, fostering strong, collaborative relationships built on trust and mutual benefit.
- Risk Mitigation & Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities and contracts adhere to legal and ethical standards, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Track and analyze supplier performance, contract compliance, and cost savings, providing insightful reports to inform strategic decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with various departments to understand their needs, provide procurement guidance, and ensure alignment on contractual obligations.
- System & Record Management: Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical records of contracts, vendor information, pricing, and product details within the procurement system.
- Continuous Improvement: Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities, evaluate potential suppliers, and continuously improve procurement processes for enhanced efficiency and value.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive purchasing experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in contract management.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

- In-depth knowledge of procurement procedures, best practices, and contract law principles.
- Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Outstanding negotiation, communication (both written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, detail-oriented, organizational, and critical thinking abilities.
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
- Demonstrated skill in contract tracking, compliance monitoring, and vendor performance evaluation.
