Database Administrator I Major Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and upgrading of database
server software and related products.
- Monitor database systems to ensure availability and performance.
- Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including backups,
recovery, and performance tuning.
- Support the development of data models and database designs.
- Create and maintain documentation for databases and reports.
- Monitor and enforce database access controls.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
regarding data privacy and security.
- Assist in the development and execution of disaster recovery plans.
- Provide support for database-related issues and troubleshoot problems
as they arise.
- Stay updated with the latest database technologies and industry best
practices.
- Propose and implement improvements to database systems and
processes.
- Eagerly performs other tasks as assigned

techniques.
- Knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SSIS Package,
Azure Data Studio.
- Knowledge of scheduling and monitoring SQL Jobs.
Skills/Knowledge Desired:
- Knowledge of PowerBI.
- Experience in Backup and Restore activity for databases.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Snowflake,
Redshift).
- TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go programming languages, Open-
Source Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and NoSQL
databases.
License/Certifications Desired:
- Microsoft Certified: Database Administrator Associate or Data Analyst
