We are looking for a Quality Engineer with 5+ years of manual testing experience with the last 2-3 years testing Contact Center Applications. This role is a hybrid role in San Antonio, TX with the potential to convert to full time.

responsibilities:
- Execute test cases and scenarios manually to verify software functionality
- Identify, document, and report bugs and defects in detail
- Perform regression testing to ensure new changes don't break existing functionality
- Conduct exploratory testing to find issues not covered by test cases
- Validate that software meets specified requirements and acceptance criteria
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation
- Track defects through bug tracking systems
- Write clear, reproducible bug reports with steps, expected vs. actual results
- Participate in test planning and estimation sessions
- Review requirements and specifications to ensure testability
qualifications:
- Minimum 5 + years of experience in Contact Center application testing (Call flows , IVR , Call Transfer , Call recording & Workforce management)
- Experience / knowledge in Cyara automation tool
- Proficiency in writing Test Strategies , Test plans , Test Cases and Defect tracking
- Collaborate with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project, product, and testing objectives
- Focus on improving automation percentage for projects developed in all technologies
- Write and execute functional test cases for all Contact Center applications
- Experience in an API Testing using Postman
- Experience / Knowledge of Selenium WebDriver, Jenkins, Maven
- Working experience in Genesys Contact Center technologies is an additional advantage
- Strong experience in Test Management tools such as JIRA and qTest
skills:
- Strong communication skills with experience interacting with stakeholders- coordinating, managing tasks with stakeholders, etc.
