We are seeking a skilled and motivated ICT Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, security, and reliability of our IT infrastructure. You'll provide proactive and responsive technical support to end-users, manage client devices and network components, and play a key role in maintaining our organization's IT excellence.

responsibilities:
1. Hardware & Software Support
- Deploy, configure, and manage client devices using Microsoft Intune, ensuring performance and compliance standards are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Maintain and manage patch panels, routers, switches, and related hardware.
- Continuously monitor device health via Intune and remediate vulnerabilities as needed.
- Provide support and administration across the Microsoft 365 suite: Teams, SharePoint, Azure, Intune, and Defender.
- Leverage PowerShell scripting to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
- Manage IT support tickets through our helpdesk system, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
- Deliver both remote and on-site support, addressing user issues with professionalism and empathy.
- Train end-users on common software applications and IT best practices.
- Maintain a robust internal knowledge base to streamline support processes.
- Accurately document incidents, fixes, and infrastructure changes.
- Champion a customer-first mindset in all interactions.
- Actively monitor for security threats and system vulnerabilities.
- Apply and maintain IT security policies, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to address risks and ensure a secure IT environment.
- Assist in the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance, ensuring reliable and secure connectivity.
- Work alongside network administrators to optimize network infrastructure.
qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 4 years in an ICT support or similar technical role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts.
